Watching our favorite characters fall in and out of love goes hand in hand with daytime television. Over the years, there have been many, many soap stars who have became couples after meeting at work and though some have since called it quits, others are still going strong. Well, fans, we have a new romance report for you and it involves a former daytimer and Hollywood sweetheart.

As first reported by TMZ, The Bold and the Beautiful alum Lorenzo Lamas (ex-Hector Ramirez) has been dating Melrose Place leading lady Heather Locklear (Amanda Woodward) for a while now. And the neatest part about this is, they met in1983, while posing for a cover of Playgirl magazine, and 43 years later they couldn’t be happier as a couple.
While they’ve kept their relationship on the down low, during last month’s Chuller Theatre Expo, Lamas and Locklear went public. And during an interview with Fox News Digital, the former Bold & Beautiful actor confirmed that he never imagined a relationship with the primetime soap actress after all these years and stated, “I mean, I’ve been through a lot of trial and error, and she is the most amazing woman that I think I’ve ever met.”
Talk about a happy soapy ending! We wish them much happiness as they embark on this new, exciting chapter in their lives.
