Ivy doesn’t seem to have realized that this day has been coming for a while now. But us Bold & Beautiful viewers… Oh, we’ve known all along that it was only a matter of time before the case of the purloined letter was blown wide open and she was left to pay the piper.
If you ask us, Ivy is just begging for her machinations to be revealed. Not only is she still carrying around the love note Electra wrote Will — that Auntie Social made sure he never saw — but she’s constantly arguing about it with Daphne. Anyone could overhear — and already, Dylan has.
The only question is, who will rat out Ivy to her niece? Since Thursday’s spoilers reveal that Daphne seeks hubby Carter’s advice, we’re going to go out on a limb and predict that she spills the beans. Frankly, it’s a mystery why she hasn’t done so already. She’s not scared of Ivy!
What Happens After the Truth Comes Out?
As we saw in this week’s sneak-peek video, Electra is quick to confront Ivy about the absolutely “not proper” thing that she’s done. Knowing Ivy, she’ll have no trouble justifying her actions; she’s that sure that Electra belongs with R.J., not Will.
But considering the hell Electra has put through Dylan through, issuing ultimatums like they were Altoids and passing judgment right and left, it seems unlikely that Miss Priss will forgive or forget what her aunt has done anytime soon.
Perhaps Ivy will decide that it’s a good time to visit family back in Australia, thereby facilitating portrayer Ashleigh Brewer’s maternity leave. Then when she returns, she can move out of the busybody category and back into the romantic lead one — especially if Darin Brooks’ comeback as Wyatt pans out.
